Flatline Barrel Paint?
So i have been doing some research for my Tippmann 98 custom flatline, i have had some good luck with this barrel but i have noticed that the accuracy of this barrel is fairly weak, not like the reviews read. I have been doing some research and figured a few things out.

1. I need a gas expansion chamber (which i got)
2. I need to calibrate the barrel to the right position.
3. The barrel had some crap inside it, which made it.
4. I am not using the right paintballs

So, after finding most of these facts out, I orderd the gas expansion chamber, and am going to callibrate the barrel along with clean it out. What I would like to know though, is what type of paintballs work best in the Flatline barrel? I have looked at a few and not really sure, didnt know if anyone here knows of the right paint for this barrel or anything like that?

lemme know

Re: Flatline Barrel Paint?
I have heard it is a bit of trial and error.  Due to the Flatline putting a backspin on the ball,  you need balls ( heh heh ) that are round, not oval and are well made, ie smooth seams and no general funkyness and should be ballanced.  You can test for that by finding a smooth surface and rolling the ball down it.  If it wobbles or lurches it is no good.  Spinning the ball like a top is a good test too.   Some say that  the shell of the ball should have some texture so the barrel can provide enough friction to spin it.  See if some folks will give you a handful of paint of different brands and see what works best.  The Flatline is cool but needs good paint to get good results.
