FIELD 51
Final Tower Build
Finally.
April 27th 11am – 4pm (ish)
If we can get enough
people maybe we’ll try getting
the jail and telegraph office up!
Thanks to a little help from Team 110 from Falmouth, we have one more bunker on the village - "The Meeting House" Its 24' long by about 16' wide, devided into multiple rooms and halls, three doorways. It's located behind the church. One down 2-3 more to go for the north side. then it's time to build up the south side.(I still have a little wrap up work Sunday (5-18-08). Still need to put on the fake roof, and cut some windows.
Not to be out done, Team 51 was out today to help on the field build. We now have a second addition to the village. The tavern is now open for business :).

First I like to thanks ThreeD and Sam for coming out last week-end, and helping with the fencing and getting the sign up.
Honestly I could not have done it with out you guys! Thanks Again!
This coming Sat (July 26) I’ll be finishing up the fencing, rebuilding the setup area out back (It was blown away during the Friday Micro-blast that came threw Gorham).
Feel free to stop by and help if you’d like.
And if all goes well….. We’ll be getting the new compressor!

Putting up the remaining fencing needed to open. This leaves a few items on the field to be changed and the paved apron layed (hoping to use cement for this?? wait for an OK from the town). Building and sign permits have been ok'd.
So if you're looking for something to do today.... stop on by.
Late notice I know, but I was out of town on Sat and was not sure I'd be back in time for the work.

Fencing is all up leaving just the paved apron.
OK here is – the final answer!!!
I needed to go to the DOT for approval of the concrete apron, and I have it.
So this week - I need to get the pavement cut (for a clean look-Shaw Brothers will do this), prep the driveway, and put in the forms.
I have scheduled two FR Carroll cement trucks for 9:00am Sat morning.
If you have time this week after work and would like to help prep this please let me know.
Sat work – I’d love to have 3-4 guys to help with the cement.
Then, a nice long weekend off.
Sept 6th will then be the day I’ve been waiting on for a long time.
The sign will be open and the doors open!!!!
As almost everything else with this project the paving is being pushed back.
Hoping to get the ground work down over the week-end, and have the cement brought in some day (M-F) next week during the day.
If you have time during the week to help out please let me know - Shooting for 3-4 people on this.
Could be a morning or afternoon event depending on when people have time free.
This is the only thing left to get the field open!
