Black Hawk Down

I am writing a game based on this event. If any one has any ideas for it please let me knwo i am looking for ideas. i have it written now i just want to make it a lil better. and maybe get norman to let me play it on the field....

this could be an extraction based scenario, not ever having seen your field before, It makes it rather difficult to judge what, but looking a the map you could make the space ship, the downed helicopter, seeing how it seems to be right dead center to the city, and make the 4 corners huts the 4 corners that need to be secured in order for the other team to extract the downed UH60 team.

Option 2 is, POST Black hawk down, the retrieval mission for the downed pilot Micheal Durrant. In this scenario, the US team would be the US Army Delta Force detachment, sent in to rescue Micheal Durrant, and the opposition would be the Samallian Millitia. The overall objective is to rescue Micheal Durrant from the captivity of the samallians. What could happen here is the Opfor could take either the person or object that would be filling in the position of M. Durrant, and hide him within the confints of the city. Seeing the layout of the field, you have some options etc. as to where he could be put. The real stratagey isnt where he is put but, where the Opfor team positions themselves in preperation to hold off the rescue team. You could have the option of the field Reff. timing the mission, so they have ex amount of time to complete the objective, faliure would mean the death of Micheal Durrant, or the rescue team is ahniliated by the Samallian Millitia.

this is a all day game with 20 or more mission all day. it is based off the "Gothic Serphant" mission that the delat force, and rangers went on. I personaly had familythat servered with delta force so i have a bit of a inside look at this. I will post up some of the info i have for the game. but not all as i will be trying to set up a real version of this game soon. and some of the mission are teh exact same mission thats was oredered at teh time fo teh event. we do have to build a few things for the game but i am sure we can rally and get them all set up and have this game be a real good game.
