Use of towers
I'm looking forward to seening towers and have read of a neat way to use them durning a game so that both teams have the same odds.   Both towers start as " guns for hire",  they can shoot at each team equally,  A member of your team has to tag the tower itself and the gunner will shoot for your team .  If the other team can tag it, they will shoot for them.  If the gunner in the tower gets hit, they can't fire for a dertermined amount of time but respawn in the same spot.

Thats great - Thanks.

I was planning on limiting the number to one or two players for safety.... but this is much better.

Some games it would be nice to have to rush to get the towers. and not already have people in it. i know that with certin kinda of gun you could possibly tag both towaers easily. but its a good idea and should be tried out to see if it will work.

Now....when the tower gunners respawn, are they on the same team or do they start as neutral again?  The latter could make some interesting challenges.

I spoke to Norm during the tower build about having an area on the field where spectators could safely watch the game.  This would be alomst like having seats over the 50 yard line.  I think the towers could easily be modified to have screens or plexiglass on the upper half to protect one or two spectators.  If the idea became really popular, we could then investigate building something bigger.  The towers also represent an excellent vantage point for referees during village games.
