Application Process

Alright,

So I know you guys are sitting in your chairs right now, itching to get out there, itching to get this team a rolling. Some of you probably even have your marker butted up agianst your desk ready to grab it at moments hast and run off to battle (ok maybe just me). So before you guys die of anxiety, I thought id put this up to help you answer the question that is probably the most obvious one your thinking, what the hell am i gonna have for dinner (ok sorry that was me). No seriously the real question is WHEN IS THIS GONNA HAPPEN!!

To answer the question, basically what will happen is after I have recieved the applications on sunday, Ill look at those that I have recieved and also those of the people that had to mail them to me. What Ill be looking for is age, experiance both in life and leangth of play. I also am looking for what level of commitment people are looking to put into the team. Overall I dont want to give someone a place on the team, who doesnt plan to either be around or attend practice/meeting (2 days a month).

After the applications are in, Ill get back to everyone and let them know one way or another. Understand that this will probably take all but a week, maybe a little more If I have to wait for peoples to arrive in the mail, other then that Ill email or call you or get ahold of you and let you know. I am looking at possible days to meet soon after, maybe meet up for dinner or something. Not neccessarly painball, but some way of getting the team together, and have a basic "meet and greet"/1st official meeting and orientation, though thats not a deffinite at this time.

Thats were we are at in the application process. I hope to get the people on the teams quick and start working together throughout the winter to organize a well oiled, team fighting, paint ball machine for this coming seasion of spring/summer woods ball games.

In response to when this first meeting might be, it looks like I'm only slated for part time work until I finish my retraining, so I'll have most days off if only for the moment. I'm thinking sometime before Dec. 8th as I'd like to discuss some things before we play again, and maybe go out to the field for some non marker practise before then as well. So I guess I'm the most open in terms of schedule, how about not this week, but next?
